My Cat Named Mischievous
My cat is aptly named Mischievous
A little ball of fur
She doesn't weigh much
But how dearly I love her
She always spills her milk
Then licks her whiskers clean
She doesn't do it on purpose
She doesn't seem to be mean
She lays on the carpet
Rolled up into a ball
In her mind she is thinking
I might trip and fall
She's always hiding somewhere
Especially underneath my chair
Suddenly she jumps out
Trying to give me a scare
I wouldn't trade her for anything
She is so precious to me
Even though she is Mischievous
It's very plain to see
She's always under foot
Especially when I am trying to work
In her mind
I'm the one who is the jerk
In spite of all this
We will have a little chat
I'll try to make her understand
But darn it I don't speak cat
