My Boy

A song that makes my heart sing,
a ray of sun in the early morn;
you fill my life with serenity
like a gentle wave in a calm sea.

A flower I see in my garden,
a caress that fills my soul;
you’re all I want in my waking hour
as I wipe away the sleep.

The pride of my life you are,
someone I wanted all along;
you’re my image, you’re my boy,
you fill my life with joy.
