My Box of Anticipation

A poor man's life compared to thee
My box of anticipation
A blink for an entire world to see
As I type emancipation.
~
Tis here am I in poets rhyme
A peoples smile in endless stream
To live within this endless time
Is merely just a feeble dream.
~
Here is where I touch the heart
Not just one but a world, could be!
Too poor to travel, in life take part
A penny does not buy a boat at sea.
~
My type flows on in measured time
Life is, period. My proclamation
Cast out I do, my poets rhyme
With my box of anticipation.
