My Book of Yesterday
A new day has been born
through the struggles of the pregnant night.
And as I sit in this serene environmen
To flip through the books of yesterday
What warms me up from the inside also try to tears me apart
It shows me where I fall and where I stand tall
It gives me the smiles just as it comes along with the frowns
So I sit here with this naked face
Soo confuse as to what to wear
Those smiles or the frowns
Then the joy became great,
As I flip to the next page
It started on a sunny day with some sunflowers
And ended on a half-full moon night,
With brighter stars
This is what everyone will hold so dear and never will let go
For the marks they created is indelible
Then tears rolled down my face
As I glance through the next the page
This is the list of missing people
Not for those twinkle stars that gradually faded and disappear
Leaving the naked skies
But for those who now dwell beneath the bedrocks
Leaving their souls in the heavens above the skies
And all of a sudden their voices started echoing in my ears
Like time didn't fold nights and spread days
Just like the elderly didn't turn old
And grow gray.
