My Biggest Hobby

Besides my writing poetry, my hobbies now are few
though in the past were many things that I liked to do -
like bicycling, swimming, and playing ping pong too.
But with most things physical, my body now is through.

Current health conditions have me lying down or seated,
which means my biggest hobby always gets repeated
daily, and never is my love for it depleted.
Oh, the many series in my life that I’ve completed!

I do things on the internet but mostly it’s TV
that I’m addicted to -maybe since the age of three!
I love the many programs and movies that I see.
Yes, watching the old boob tube is A-ok with me.

Whatever the inspiration is, it seems to be working well! We're trying to take care of our bodies since they are the vessels for our minds, but it isn't easy or without pain.

I force myself to the gym once a week but I need to do it more! I do practice deep breathing. I've done acupuncture and lots of different things. Thanks for commenting and always being so sweet

I really like to read, but don't get to the bookstore much anymore to purchase a book. I miss my nightly chapter or two in a new exciting book. Thanks for sharing with us about your hobbies and update on your health. I think there is a contest going on about hobby/ies. This reads like a good contender to me. Way to go. But now so many books get made into movies, I just see the movies. We have thrift shops that sell paperbacks super cheap. Even a used book store. You should go buy a bunch . People having garage sales sell them too. Libraries sometimes sell old books. You should talk to your library not just check books out. I have two huge book cases . Half the books on them I have never read, so if we ever lose power for a length of time, I am ready to read!!
