My Best Friend
Thank you for always being there
Through distance and closeness no matter where
I really can't picture my life without you
I wanna thank you for all the things that you do
For every laugh and joke and fun
And for being the shoulder I can always cry on
We've always had this great understanding
One that only true friendship bring
I thank God for sending you on my path
Helping me mend each broken heart
Our fun times and dance moves and parties for two
The most fun I had was shared with you
Lady Antebellum and Dancing Queen
Remember how each word we used to sing
You are a true friend for whom any girl would ask
I feel lucky 'cause God put you on my path
Now you've moved and I hardly ever see you
But distance don't matter when friendships are true
You are only a call or text away
And I still get to say what I want to say
I miss you a lot at times you know
And sometimes I wish you didn't have to go
But no matter the distance, little time for fun
Of all my friends, you remain number one
You are more than a friend, a sister indeed
Always being there when I am in need
Today I thank you for everything that you do
And most of all for being true
U are truly Godsend
And that's why I call you MY BEST FRIEND.
