My best friend

We used to talk for hours,
And bloom like pretty flowers.
Though we were best friends,
Yet as strangers we pretend.
Several nonsense stories we made,
Hundred of times was the same scene played.
Our bond becomes stronger day by day,
And lasts till the final breath always I pray.
With you I always felt complete,
My truest friend you are so sweet.
A comfort zone where I can be,
Always in my heart yourself you'll see.

Great friends are hard to come by. You expressed the meaning of this so well in your poem. Well done, Aarushi.
