My Best Friend

When we were growing up
You were my best friend
No matter what I encountered
On you I could always depend

You would always be there
When I was in any type of need
Even with all our fights
And how we hardly ever agreed

But every time that we did
It was good times that we had
They'd make me always forget
Every time you made me mad

And every fight we had
Was forgotten and we'd amend
You're more than my brother
You're my very best friend
