My Beloved
MY BELOVED
From a thousand miles,
I write to my beloved with smiles,
My heart so mild,
Like that of a child,
Whose in tranquil.
My ink was à vontade,
Memories of the soul,
Imaginations of the mind,
Happy moments on board the ships en vouyage,
Many a thing I would have written to you my beloved,
But diction threw itself away,
In all things know ye that am well.
Towards Wittenberg I sail in two days,
Bringing the roses of Osgoliath,
And the pearls of Nicosia,
Be at the gate my beloved.
