My Beauty, My Beast

My beauty I can not openly reveal.
I'm a man and keep my beauty concealed.
It's my beast within me that I'll more likely display,
simply because this happens to be the human male's way.
Only the beauty of a woman can unlock the heart of men and have any man reveal
all of the beauty that is within all men too, who so stupidly keep it concealed.

You can't hide your "beauty" from me, Bill. I see it in everything you do to help others. But it's nice to think that women can sometimes bring out the gentler side of men. Great poem! Love, Carolyn

Oh yeah, Billy, how true this is!... Guess it's that 'macho man' thing we seem to be cursed with - Tim
