Listen to poem:

My Beautimous Man By CayCay Jennings

Lyric By CayCay Jennings

My beautimous man is my favorite visual treat.
Times staring at him are times I often repeat.

His blond tendrils hang down, outside his do-rag,
and are curls my fingers just have to twirl and grab.

Fierce, piercing blue eyes allow his gaze to melt me,
happens all the time and never do I ever mind.

The rich pay surgeons for cheekbones my man has.
My knuckles sometimes trace each bones span.

He has such a good-looking nose, not big or small,
it’s a nose I frequently kiss on my tip toes.

Perfect lips motivate my own to seek his kiss.
They aren't thick or thin, but ideal sized bliss.

I’m mesmerized by his labor rustled arm muscles
that grow a need for my cheeks to muscle nuzzle.

My beautimous man said my vision needs to be checked
because no features of his do my eyes accurately detect.
He said his curls do hang down, but no hair is on his crown.
He took me to a mirror to see lines under his eyes clearer,
said his cheekbones are no longer sensual but skeletal,
his nose now nostril hair grows and rudely hair shows,
plus, his muscles have aged and are now sad sag designed.

I asked what word bits would he now hurl about his lips -
he pulled me close and said, ‘only kisses are on my lip script.’

Hey, look at the face, good to see you and she, and that you be two! I came to see / read what Andrea's response was. She's so good to me. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

I never had time to finish hearing the whole song until just now although I had read all her lyrics. It's so amazing how you smoothly you have her words transition from one line to the next. I do hope she gets this on her poem. It took me a while but I finally got your music attached to the poems you gave me music for. I thank you so much for the work you have done to gladden so many poets here. Do you know the number of songs you have now created for Soup members?

I have successfully downloaded it and listened to it, so we're good. YES, please post the lyrics. To top of the perfection you started, I added a pic to the write. Thanks for 'feeling' as you did and gifting what I didn't even know I was craving. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

FOUR / When we listened for the 1st time, we both had wide eyes, and 0 shaped lips, when Tim softly spoke, 'this song is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me.' Tim never speaks softly, much less lets people know he cried (he said I could tell!) If you live long enough, something can come of nowhere that is a good thing, check that out! Poetry hugs ... CayCay (oh, pls paste the lyrics on your page, do u think that's best?)

THREE / (For him, I'd jump up and down, for you, I cried and so did Tim.) Tim has been exhilarated and amazed by many poems I've written for / about him, but he's never cried. I had to tell you all the above (or in this format, the below) so you'll know just how meaningful your gesture was/is and will continue to be. I need you to know you impacted us in a wonderful, emotional and fulfilling way. THANK YOU, Jerry.

TWO / ... from there it was, 'when I say this about your ***, you say what, usually ... yes, yeah, you do' and on we went until the end, when we realized we had collaborated, that's never happened before. When we read it, IT WAS US, a history of a very real part of our life together. AND NOW 'OUR POEM' IS A SONG!', you generous man! If Ed McMahon himself, had knocked on our door with a check weighing more than I do, I would not be as emotionally elated as I am by your selfless gift.

ONE / I'm happy to be alive because I'm thoroughly, joyously Jerry-surprised. I'm quite emotional so I'm probably going to fill more than 1 comment box. ~~~ I didn't know what to write about for that contest (BEAUTY/EYE OF BEHOLDER IS NOT THE REALITY AT ALL) Tim and I were discussing possibilities, and he said something that sparked me, 'hey, that's it, I can pen about the compliments I give you that you blow away as total fiction or blindness'
