My Beautiful New Ring

Stunning purple full of beauty and grace
I still can’t wipe the smile from my face
Today I purchased an amethyst ring
It is very subtle not full of bling
You saw on my face the joy it will bring
You re-sized it for me so it would fit
I would have paid extra but you wouldn’t hear of it
You gave me a discount and then you did say
Could I clean your sapphire ring for you today?
So now I have two shiny rings one old and one new
But when I wear them I will always think of you

I am sending this poem to the Jeweller in Haworth Yorkshire – he truly made my
day with his kindness

A truly unique dedication to the jeweler Who seems to have made you quite happy with his care beyond the customary customer service. Well written and good for you my friend.... Robert.

Robert we had a bit of banter when I went in to buy the bracelets and when I returned straight into the shop to purchase the ring he was amazing and he went out of the way to make sure I was happy. I don't think we say thank you often enough even to our family and friends :-) Hugs Jan xxx

Such a beautiful write, Jan, that I can identify with as I have a lovely amethyst ring as well that I treasure! It was a gift I bought for myself many years ago in New York City. Have a lovely day1

Noooo Casarah I'm not wonderful I'm just little old me! I was so overwhelmed by the treatment I got from this lovely man I had to get the shop address to send a thank you card - I told him I wrote poems and thought it would be lovely to honour his kindness:-) Hugs Jan xxx

I'm not a blingy lady Tim- prefer jewellery to be subtle - guess as I pay for it I cant afford blingy stones LOL. This jeweller went out of his way to help me - I bought 2 cheap (£2) bracelets and we chatted for a while when I went out of the shop I looked in the window and saw this ring - went back in - it needed to be resized - was done in an hour - then he cleaned my other ring AND gave me a discount I was thrilled so i will send him this poem and a thank you card. Hugs as ever Jan xxx
