My Baby Is So Naive

You never care when I'm around
But when I'm not you start to scowl
You expect me to drop it all
But when it’s your turn you don’t answer my call

You don’t care for my love anymore
You just care that I'm there when you need support
How can I live knowing what we have isn’t real?
How do you live knowing this is how I feel?

You just sit there holding the key
You just sit there listening to me plea
My baby doesn’t know what he means to me
My baby is so naive

Your voice makes me tremble
Im the finger you’re the thimble
You don’t realize how much you mean to me
Oh baby you are so naive

Why wait any longer
Our bond isn’t getting any stronger
You’re the key and I'm the engine
Without you there is no liven’

You just sit there holding the key
You just sit there listening to me plea
My baby doesn’t know what he means to me
My baby is so naive…
