My Baby Done Put Me Out

Its early morning and my baby she done put me out.
(She done put me out now, ya hear?)
Its early morning and my baby hung me out.
(Hung me out to dry, last summer sun.)
Its early morning and I tried to take me a ride.
(Alright.)
Its early morning and I'd try to go for a ride.
I'm a tight-roping dancer baby, failure on both sides.
(We'll I tried.)
And that's fine.
I'll just have to go and meet you on the other side.
(What side?)
I said, "I see you when I gotta", and I'll have to soon.
I'll make that other side, with or without you.
