My Angel
For the first time in my life
I can finally see,
God has sent me an angel
To watch over me.
When I feel like giving up
And no longer want to fight,
She holds me close and comforts
Making it all right.
When my eyes are blind from tears
My heart has to much pain,
Her smile brings out the sunshine
Her words cast away the rain.
Her eyes tell me everything
Out or the world to see,
She shows me I am beautiful
And I should love being me.
I have had many friends
Never none so true,
As the day God finally graced me
With the presence of you.
Forever by my side
I truly hope you'll be,
You are my loving Angel
God has sent to me!
