My Angel

She told me about her angels
That were always on her shoulder
Who looked after her
When she was frightened or felt alone

She rocked my world
All I could think of was her
When she was not around
But that was an age ago

Now she has gone
To where there are angels
And I am still here
Waiting to be with her again.
