My Anchor

The Lord is my anchor in the storms of life
the Lord is my anchor
who carries my cares and strife
the Lord is my anchor to whom
I hold on tight
the Lord is my anchor
 who makes everything all right
the Lord is my anchor
he catches me when I fall
the Lord is my anchor
my one and my all.

Hebrews 6 : 19 & 20 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It
enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered
on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Like an anchor holding a ship safely in position,
our hope in Christ guarantees our safety. inner sanctuary behind the curtain. Whereas the
ship's anchor goes down to the ocean bed, the Christian's anchor goes up into the true,
heavenly sanctuary, where he is moored to God himself.

never will he leave us never will he forsake us Amen.

And this is one Anchor that will never lose its grip, Diane. I like the analogy of having an anchor to hold the soul in place. As a fisher(wo)man, I have lost other anchors, but I shall never lose the one you describe. Very insightful and inspirational, Diane! Love, Carolyn

Very good write showing your Faith. The last line is one of my favorite verses but I have so many that no one is my total favorite. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work. Sara
