Mutual Benefit

Encouragement through word or deed
Can brighten up a gloomy day
Or motivate a flagging heart
To be determined and succeed.

The giver and receiver find
A closeness through their warm exchange
Which lifts the spirit's mood and brings
A shared, uplifted state of mind.

It may be just a simple smile,
A letter bringing cheery news,
Or visit to a lonely soul;
Uplifting others is worthwhile.

Poem needs to have 3 stanzas of 4 lines. For each stanza, lines 1 and 4 must rhyme but lines 2 and 3 will not rhyme.
