Mutare

Beauty changes
the embattled soul
A transmutation
ennobled whole
In darkest throes
to spread its light
Forever bathed
—in pure delight

Love what this poem says, Kurt. Loaded with truth and well written. I like your conciseness. And I learned a new word ("mutare")! - John

There is so much ugliness in the world. One must seek out the beauty or live in darkness. Good morning, Kurt:)
