Muslims

Muslims One Muslim greeted me in the park yesterday. I said hello; completely unaware. Another Muslim passed by the other day. I nodded and smiled; completely unaware. Again a Muslim crossed my path and still; I remained unaware. Theological stigma seems to elude me; completely unaware. Wardrobe choices and ethnicities render me colorblind and ignorant. Yet I too am effected by sociology. Media haunts my directive; completely unaware. Fear lays deep within me. I am afraid of you—What you may do to me. Heart broken and mislead by poor leadership; completely aware... I ignore so many yet I attempt enlightenment. I am completely unaware. Muslims do not wear name tags labeling their lineage. I am not a Muslim; only willing to listen. I believe in the power of the unknown. A power which I do not seek to fully understand. A man has a purpose. A Muslim does too. The fact remains that deep within my soul I truly believe in a reason for everything. This reason, I believe is unreasonable. And if we spend our days in search of the almighty answer(s) to life; we are bound to question. You, I and Muslims alike are all...completely unaware. 6-23-17 Contest: I Like Muslims Sponsor: Kai Michael Neumann
