Musings On This Night

Stars do shine so mightily
As if they do be proud of the eternity
The eternity that they do bask in
While we, humanity, do keep basking in sin

Wonder you about life, about our meaning
Why, aimless, purposeless, if our existence is to be ending
Muse I to the sky
Will you let me fly

I wish to shine among those stars
I wish I could travel to and from those pulsars
Meet those beings who are believed to live up there
Ask them the cure to make of life on Earth, something that does be fair

Stars do shine so mightily on this night
Watching them, my heart does clench so tight
Life does be dual, life does be cruel
I shall declare myself vanquished to fate, in this duel!
