Musings on faith

there is no harm per se
in adhering to a this or that faith
it is conditioning of course
imposed by culture and society
day and night crying itself hoarse

the sun above shines equally on all
oceans offer no introduction
beauteous light of moon, a soothing balm
Mother Earth holds all in its womb
bliss magnetism ushers joyous calm

is the god we worship containerised in form
is He so narrow that He discriminates
is agape love a make belief concept
reflect oh hermit, on deluded beliefs we hold
methinks sermons of pastors are suspect

go in within in time dissolved silence
break the mirror and embrace the clear truth
there are no others, all is one
God alone is, the all there is
we are as He, we are the light of the sun
