Murder

I stared at the lights flickering
As I approached the house
I peered at the body
lying on the floor
Silently I leaned closer to see who it was
There lied the person
all covered in blood
I gasped in horror
of who was standing there
There was the person i dreamed about
The person had been in every single dream
I had imagined that the person was safe
But i was totally wrong
I stood there quietly
watching the person clean up
I backed up horrified
looking at the house burn down
I went back home
feeling nauseous about what happened
that night i will never forget
How terrifying it was
To see the person in my dream
wash the blood off from the dead victim
I can still picture the person's face
standing there with glee
watching the house burn down
