Mundane
Everyday its the same
Dull,Colorless, Mundane
She works up the strength
To get out of Bed
Attends to her children,husband
Then she moves into her world
At times its not what she wants
She goes to places , she never wished to be,
She greets all with a smile
Not always from the heart
Life has tought her lessons of cruel art
Once she had eyes full of dream
Happiness, love and all the lovely things
Now these eyes search for a better way to finish the day
She returns home
Attends to her children
Give herself to him, eyes closed in
For the moment before she falls to sleep
She dreams of what could have been
