Much Too Soon

She was only sixteen – much too young
To have a baby in her womb
Should her mother interfere with God’s creation
Oh…it’s much too soon!

They had only been married a little while
When he caught her cheating in the next room
Should he file for divorce or turn his head this time
Cause right now is much too soon!

When God brings two bleeding hearts together
That are nursing prior wounds
Should they say no to happiness
Because the blessing was much too soon?

I try to be obedient
And claim the blessings that are mine
Because one thing I know about my God
He’s always right on time.
