Much Dollars For a Hideous Doll
A hideous doll became something nice:
A demon permitted a high price.
The monster shall, soon, through earned cash slice
Its seller dreaming to eat stewed rice...
Last week, The cheap like poison for mice
Now reason to drive hard bargain thrice.
"I just love the Angel", said Ann twice.
She'll forego the sprays she'd planned for lice...
But in Heaven to keep the thing vice,
Not once some Christians gave their advice
Much surprised at how such things entice
A word of wisdom should one suffice...
On nearly all things Ann throws a dice,
Soon, the irreconcilable splice,
A doll not what she readily buys,
Dollars not for dolls, when there are pies.
