Mrs. Parker and I

I want to be Dorothy,
and the words she writes,
I want to be the simplicity,
the beauty in her rhyme.
I want to be the eternity,
of her wrong and right,
her coda is the air I breathe,
the resume of my life.
If I have to live this living,
I might as well live in her light,
I want to be Dorothy,
body, soul, and mind.
But if she said to be myself,
than I would abide,
I would be the journey,
and she could be my guide.
Sharing the same hiding place,
only separated by time,
Mrs. Parker and me or,
Mrs. Parker and I.

How do you do, Joe? Thanks for checking 'Having'. Your style, washing me in your tone, is unique! Read 'Just Listening', Toast Toilet ', ' Day is Mine', - excuse inaccuracies in headings, they drop glimpses of your blood stream. Rare to witness.

Washing you in my tone kind of encapsulates my purpose here. Thanks for seeing that. Your words are encouraging. Maybe I’ll keep hacking away at this piece a little longer. Going on 34 hours. Thanks so much.
