The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Mr Whiskey

Mr. Whiskey and I went on a walk
He taught me how to dance
He told me how to think and talk
Said I could fly if I got the chance

He said I was the greatest man alive
There is nothing I should fear
Convinced me while we talked that I could drive
And introduced me to his buddy beer

So Mr. Whiskey, beer and I had a grand time
Living a carefree life
Until I crossed the double yellow line
And killed a man, his children and his wife

The way your poem switches from jolly to tragic is very effective and mirrors the reality exactly.

A very strong message in your verse Timothy, drinking and driving don't mix well Tom
