Mr Storm
There's a storm brewing in the skies
I see it clear through my brown eyes
The clouds are thick with heavy rain
Oh Lord here comes the storm again
I'll find some shelter from the storm
Cause I don't want it to cause harm
I hear the thunder roaring loud
The lightning flashing through the clouds
Oh here it comes, it's pouring down
The raindrops make the sweetest sound
I feel relaxed, I feel at ease
The storm has brought a gentle breeze
The sky is lit up like a lamp
The ground is soaked, it's wet and damp
I hear a noise, what could it be
A branch has fallen from the tree
A storm is such a hidden treasure
It brings us close, brings us together
The rain, it sings a melody
The soothing sound it sets me free
I know that it will soon be over
I wish that it could pass by slower
The rain, it puts me in a trance
I wish that I could do a dance
Twirling in it round and round
Watching as the rain comes down
It brings me joy, it brings me peace
This storm I never want to cease
It's passing by, it's almost over
The storm is coming to a closure
I'm really sad it had to end
Dear Mr. Storm, please come again
