Wake up Mr. Nothing
And watch me walk away
Seems that your agenda
Doesn't include me again today
Take one more look
Before I walk out the door
Then go on about your business
As you've always done before
Hold on just a minute
I have one more thing for you
It's a thank you from the heart
For what you didn't do
You didn't show me love
Though I gave it in return
You didn't seem to care
For the bridges you would burn
You almost never listened
To what I had to say
So I thank you for the nothing
That I'm leaving with today
