Moving On

Like a breath of fresh air
You comfort me within
Like a story I want to experience
I always pick you up again

I want to line up the pieces
Yours and mine
You say everything right now is okay
And that you're "fine"

I could do better
If you decide to see
Let's go on that beach walk
Just you and me

So here I am dropping lines
A trail of bread crumbs from a subtle source
My endearing telegraph
Like the beat of Samuel Morse

But patience is something I lack
So this is me moving on
If one day you feel the same
I hope I am not gone
