Moving On

The winds will blow
Even if you leave
The trees continue to grow
It's hard to believe

Rivers don't stand still
If you think they do
I have the will
To move on from you

The sun still shines
My heart's so bright
I will miss you at times
At the end there's light

The birds continue to chirp
I enjoy this, atleast
You caused so much hurt
I deserve to be in peace

I watch the deers feed
As they go from meadow to meadow
I have again found me
That certain special glow

Abandon me, you did
Best thing that happened
Now I need to live
Full force and strapped in
