Moving On

Heard the rain on the window
Felt the wind through the trees
Spied the shadow near the church
Of one that still believes

Knew the geese were migrating
To escape winter's hell
They'll return in the springtime
If everything goes well

I'm camping on the hilltop
Gazing at lands below
Watching the world changing
In ways I'll never know

Tomorrow there'll be sunshine
And I'll be moving on
I'll nod to the believer
As he's singing his song
