You keep us waiting for the arrival
You give us excitement for what is to come
You give hope to a world in need
You give us causes to fight for
You give us places to imagine
You give us stories of triumph and love
You give us happy endings
You give us lessons learned
You give us reflection and anticipation
You give us ways to heal others
You give us words to speak
You give us compassion
You give ways to express ourselves
You give us a Life with challenge
You give us time to grow
You mature us through your process
You help us sift through the hurt
You help us understand why something happened
You give us peace of mind
You tell us what's worth fighting for
You teach us what to speak and what to hold back
You empower us and give us self-control
You encourage us to go beyond what is expected
You tell us of a perfect future with you
We yearn to be with you face to face
