Moving a Lot
I remember we moved a lot,
when I was really young,
always going to new schools,
again I'd have to fit in.
I never knew why we moved so much,
we were never one place long,
pack up our things as usual,
and then we would be gone.
years down the track, I started to question why,
why we moved around so much,
it was because of gang rivalry, Mum said,
it happened every time.
I didn't know a lot about things,
that happened behind the scene,
being run out, shot at and petrol bombed,
pretty much a common theme.
so yeah, until that day I never knew,
why we moved so much,
we moved for our own safety,
otherwise we'd all be toesed up.
