Mouse
MOUSE
A little mouse
Came in our house
One cold December day.
We yelled and cried
And how we tried
To make her go away.
She ate our cheese
And lived at ease
All through the winter gloom
She ran around
And squeaked her sound
From room to cosy room.
When springtime came
She looked the same
But there was more in store
For what I saw
Behind the door
Was not just one but four!
The weather cleared
As summer neared
And all of them had fun
Till mother mouse
Found another house
Then all the mice were gone.
