Mourning Colors

Mourning Colors my hope is blue like sunlit skies before the raging storm as beautiful as the crimson rose before I touched its thorn my passion blacker than the night it used to keep me warm cold now like white winter ice my tears mixed with your scorn my shame the color of my eyes a sad song they perform the ballad of the times we had a dream that left me torn but the colors that you see are painting my reform for everything you took from me I shall no longer mourn By: Jeremy Siedlecki
