Mountains To Molehills
Turning molehills to mountains
is what I do best
So why take it easy
when I could be stressed?
At overreacting
I'm quite an old hand
And I surely do hope
nothing goes off as planned
Small bumps in the road
can certainly grow
And out of proportion
I'll see that they blow
The simplest way
is no way for me
But to complicate matters
just fills me with glee
If I play my cards right
with hopes running high
I'll successfully fail
in whatever I try
Now if you think I mean this
how wrong you would be
I'm just poking fun
at myself playfully
And don't you believe
these pessimistic puns
For I'm winning the race
that the optimist runs
My most favorite thing
in this life, you will see
is to make people happy
and smile with me
To laugh at one's self
the sages foretold
turns mountains to molehills
and fills them with gold
