Note - I deliberately put a semicolon in the second stanza, as I don't want a raised inflection.
Listen to poem:
"Mountains of Love"
said the advert.
on a Monday afternoon,
and I suppose I should give mountains
to whoever plays my tune.
Trouble is
who is this guy,
and will mountains turn out wrong;
I'll reply to the ad. next Monday,
if I'm still in Hong Kong.
The wind it is fast blowing
over South China Sea,
and mountains of love sure tempt me,
whatever it may be.
