Mountains of Evidence

Mountains of evidence ignored and denied
People on different planets, laws defied
Willing to believe anything they're told
As facts slip through their fingers, unable to hold
The truth harder to believe than lies
Complaints easier than listening to the cries
History forgotten and is left ignored
Blindness in the present is preferred
It's a web creating a trap, not yet seen
Trying to be shown by those who are keen
Cries for freedom with refusal to hear,
Will only bring the end to be near
