Marty Owens Poet Haiku

Mountain Frontiers

Crystal snowflaked peaks,
kaleidoscoped blue heavens,
majestic purples
        
deep, dark, cold caverns,
mingled green trees, gold landscapes,
indigo raptures,
         
clouds of white angels,
refreshing white waterfalls,
cold ice palaces,
     
slick, green, mossy slopes,
yellow flowers in green fields
ALL BECKONING COME!

**NOTE***

I need to explain that this is not your typical Haiku ...all verses are describing and leading up to the last line where the Mountains are beckoning everyone to come.  Thanks

Debbie Guzzi July 13, 2012 at 6:52 AM Interesting write Marty as to the form it at first seems Free Verse/ish but it could be put under List or Verse, yet you are correct it is not a haiku in any sense, there are way more than 2 connected concepts in each stanza, that is the most minimal requirement for a haiku. As always, the labeling of the form has little to do with the quality of the work. Light & Love
