Mountain Drop

`~ MoUNTAIN DRoP~

I want to be like the mountain top.  
The higher I go, the less room I have to stop. 
A moment to think~ a moment to slow. 
With one look down!  
I release my breath and let it flow. 
My fallen star has hit the ground. 
Life's deepest thoughts will never be found. 
When no ones around! 
I will allow myself to drown,
only when the world brings me down. 
 
I want to take that key! 
Turn it around, and get lost in that moment only I see. 
I want to lose my soul!
I am ready to go!
I am ready to look! 
Ready to fall!
Ready to leave!
Leave it all! 
 
Jumping off the edge when I hit rock bottom. 
Or, should I continue my lies 
and pretend  to be the best in every ones eye! 
The best to climb the mountain top. 
Reaching for them stars in the skies 
The best~never to look down. 
The best will never be good enough for me. 
While I am around...

Simply amazed at the depth of the imagery and insight! Had me on top of a mountain looking across blue skies into another world. One where beauty and wisdom share a fantasy ride!! Sincerely a magnificent read... Even the weak can see the glory of the strong..

This is a very important piece of work. Many people live within the walls of other peoples expectations and never get to learn their true value and uniqueness. Sometimes we have to dissapoint people on our quest to find our mountain top. Sometimes what makes us the happiest may be found at the times we are in the valleys of life. Excellent poem SKAT. I like poetry that evokes emotion.
