Mountain Cabin
Mountain Cabin
Let’s go to your cabin up there in the woods
Away from our chores, out coulds and our shoulds
Way up in the mountains, no TV no phone
A warm cozy fire and you all alone
Let’s go to your cabin – a candle light dinner
And if we get snow, we may stay there all winter
We’ll hike the old trails and wear ourselves out
Happy together without any doubt
Let’s go to your cabin, remember old times
The fresh mountain air, the smell of the pines
The sounds of the wind as it nestles the trees
The crunch of the snow when the world seems to freeze
Let’s go to your cabin, just you and me
I miss those old times – how we used to be
Let by gones be by gones – let’s start life anew
I miss the old cabin – I miss the old you
