Mount St Helens

angry inhale deep
venting smoldering tantrum
animals fleeing

2/4/2020

Mount St. Helens in Washington erupts, causing a massive avalanche and killing 57 people on this day in 1980. Ash from the volcanic eruption fell as far away as Minnesota.

I lived only 235 miles south from Mount St. Helens when it erupted.

Nicely done, except Mother Nature exhaled, regurgitating all that upset her! Aloha! Rico

Mother nature at her angriest, we sometimes forget the earth is a living thing. Tom

I remember that event--though I lived far away in Maryland (and still do). Your photo reflects the essence in your words, Eve.
