Motown

The super Supremes, are just one of the groups
Of Motown stars singing their style.
And do not forget the tempting Temptations
Who stayed on the top for awhile.
While The Supremes and Temps had various hits
And fans of intense devotion,
T`was Smokey who performed my favorite Mo-tune;
My pick—Second that Emotion.
We musn`t forget Gladys Knight and the Pips,
Or the grooving of Stevie Wonder.
The dancing and costumes that were The Four Tops—
The crowds applause sounded like thunder.
Time will remember the Bubblegum craze and
The Disco, with the silver ball.
And I know that history will certainly show
Motown`s one of the best of them all.
