Motive

Smile
Like I haven't in while
I'm worried
That things will never be
With the way they've been going frequently
I can't be that girl anymore
I'm always left out feeling poor
I've tried to move on and live
But I always lose my motive
Initially I like the guy
But in the end I want you, and have to say good-bye
It's not fair to me or him, what you do
All of those wasted days I rue
But God why do I always come back to you
To be left broken in the night
Nothing left in me to fight
I don't want to be that girl any longer
I'll just have to learn to be stronger

Very heartfelt and lots of wisdom in the last two lines, Jen. Isn't it amazing how God is always there for us in times when we are feeling lost? Merry Christmas, Carolyn
