Notes About The Poem

Motivated To Choose Happy

Her motivations for a happy life, of jump and dance and sing.
Her desire to live holding a rainbow, loving everything,
Began when her emotional shackles fell off onto the floor.
She stood, looking through others eyes, at their personal war.

It was clear that everyone had a choice, regarding their pep and shine.
To be the person with the sparkling eyes, or to drink the sparkling wine.
She made the choice, at her fork in the road, to be a silhouette of pure glee.
Nothing could chain her to sad depressed, instead she’d chained herself to free.

Thanks Andrea, it's such a simple choice, yet so difficult.
