Its called just going through the motions
There's no quick fix, no magic potions
Day in, day out the goal is the same
Head up, stay strong. My emotions. Tame
Stress this, stress that. Wait, just breathe
Stay busy, feel lazy. Stop thinking, just be
I can. I can't. I won't. I will
Tired, can't sleep. Frustrated. Just deal
Defeated. Broken. I'm done. For the day
Wake up, try again. Start a new, I say
Fight harder, get stronger, two steps back
Feelings, more feelings. I'm over this crap
Walk tall, come on, enjoy a few laughs
The future is bright just forget the past
Woke with a smile. Heard a song, down I go
Suck it up, no tears. Don't let it show
I'm not going to do it. Nope. Not again
Yep, I'm crying. Ok, just for a second. Or ten
That's enough. Shake it off. Got things to do
Life to live, people to love, no time to be blue
Stick to the plan, I will get through
This too shall pass, I know it to be true
It's part of the process, it's only a phase
Let the heart heal, don't count the days
It's not a race, there's no trophy at the end
Remind myself it gets better and until then
Just hold tight, I know what to do
