Mothers of the Nation

Mothers of this great nation stand and take a bow,
Let the world know just who you are here and now.
You are the light that guides the way for all to see,
Mothers of this great nation arise and bask in your jubilee.
You face each day without fear but with great hope,
And somehow you find the strength from deep within to always cope.
Your determination and optimism are a breath of fresh air for one and all,
And being champions of this great nation as you rise and stand tall.
You continue to make your mark wherever you may go,
And your selfless acts of kindness always show.
Nothing will make you perform your role with mediocrity,
As you boldly face each new day and take charge of your children's destiny.
And when the days come where your patience seems to be tested,
In prayer and peace of mind I know you'll be heavily invested.
Your nurturing ability is what makes you unique all year round,
And wherever you are in you a confidant and a friend can be found.
Mothers of this great nation, I salute you today for always going the extra mile,
And with every setback you face you carry on and always with a smile.
Giving up will undoubtedly never be an option,
And that's why you're the mothers of this great nation.
To some ,you may be free spirited yet firm in your ways,
And to others you are bold and strong on good and bad days.
But together you fight battles as you make your children your priority,
So mothers of this great nation arise! as you are the backbone of our society.
