MOTHER'S DAY POEM My Metaphor states: a bouquet of love, a garden of care, Solemnly surrounds me with women beyond compare. My wife, a partner, a friend, a mother, and a guide, Nurtures with love and affectionate heart inside. Big sisters, supportive, wise, strong and so kind, Lead by example, with a good heart and sound mind. Younger sister, sweet and a proud brother's delight, Brings peace and love, but takes trouble out of sight. My Mother, a pillar, a rock, earthly angel, a shining star, A constant presence yet distant, paradoxically she's never far. Today and every day, I celebrate you, The women who make my life anew.
